About the Role
Our Member Experience staff serves as the primary front desk operator and first point of contact for families and players entering the CLUBHOOPS facility. This role ensures smooth check in, excellent customer service, basic facility operations, and support with administrative tasks. Ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, tech comfortable, and enjoys working in a youth sports environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk & Customer Service
- Greet players, families, and visitors with high energy and professionalism.
- Manage check‑in for all classes, practices, and events.
- Provide in‑person and phone support for parent questions, schedules, policies, and registration.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues when needed.
Facility Operations:
- Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and organized throughout operating hours.
- Open and/or close the facility following established protocols.
- Monitor gym activity and support coaches with operational needs when appropriate.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues.
Administrative & Technology Tasks:
- Use Mac / Apple devices for daily operations.
- Navigate Office 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive).
- Learn and operate Facility Management software (training provided).
- Update attendance logs, class rosters, and basic scheduling inputs.
- Assist with program registrations, payments, and account inquiries.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, youth sports, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with parents and kids.
- Familiar with Mac / Apple products
- Comfortable with Office 365
- Willing to learn scheduling and management software
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks (e.g., moving equipment).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a youth sports facility, recreation center, or fitness environment.
- Knowledge of basketball programs or youth development is a plus.
- Bilingual skills welcome but not required.
Schedule:
- Part‑time; approximately 10–25 hours per week
- Availability required during peak times:
- Weeknights (4pm–9pm)
- Saturdays (9am–2pm)
Compensation:
- Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Pay range is $16 - $20 per hour.

All CLUBHOOPS staff—including headquarters personnel, part-time staff, interns, and volunteers—must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening prior to employment.
