ClubHoops was created to provide a safe and structured environment for youth to learn life-skills through basketball. Through structured programs we aim to develop highly focused and future leaders. Our vision is to become the hub of basketball in our communities by providing top notch facilities along with programs geared towards teaching young players the game of basketball.
ClubHoops skill development curriculum is a year-round program that consists of 60 minute classes structured to focus on 8 fundamental areas of the game: Ball Handling, Dribbling, Dribble Moves, Offensive Moves, Shooting, Passing, Post Moves, and Ball Screen Moves. ClubHoops skill development program is specifically designed to prepare players for high school basketball. Players are required to pass skills assessments in order to move forward to the next level of the curriculum.
ClubHoops Adult League offers a well organized basketball league program that provide a range of skill levels from recreational to competitive. We offer four adult leagues per year (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). Each season consists of a 8 game season and playoffs.
ClubHoops camps reach the beginner and intermediate team player through drills that range from basic to advanced techniques needed to perfect your game. Our coaching staff will help all players develop a love for basketball, strengthen their skills, and improve their understanding of the game to give them the edge they need to become a better player.
ClubHoops offers club teams for youth players 10U to 17U. Some of our teams compete year-around and compete at the highest level against the best teams in the country. These are often the players that are planning to play collegiately at the highest level. Our club teams play in competitive tournaments, practice more often, and demand a higher level of commitment than a recreational team. The competition season will consist of weekly skill development sessions, team practices, and participation in competitive tournaments.
ClubHoops Youth League offers a well organized basketball league program for boys and girls 8 to 14. Skill play ranges from beginner to intermediate level play. Youth League has two seasons per year (Fall and Winter). Each season consists of 8 games and playoffs. Youth League provides a fun and engaging environment for players to come together and compete.
How is ClubHoops different than other clubs?
ClubHoops is an all inclusive basketball club. No hidden fees or charges. A simple fee allows your athlete to participate on a team based upon their skill level. ClubHoops offers programs for youth and adult players. ClubHoops does offer additional a la carte programs designed to enhance our club programs.
How much does it cost to play with ClubHoops?
The cost to participate on a ClubHoops team varies depending upon the track you choose. ClubHoops offers three tracks for players for youth players. ClubHoops Youth, ClubHoops Premier and ClubHoops Elite. Each program is designed to develop players based upon their current skill level. ClubHoops also offers 4 recreational and competitive adult leagues per year.
What are the different club programs offered by ClubHoops?
ClubHoops Elite is a club program for 15U to 17U players to compete at the highest level against the best teams in the country. These are often the players that are planning to play collegiately at the highest level. Our Elite teams play in competitive tournaments, practice more often, and demand a higher level of commitment than the ClubHoops Premier program.
ClubHoops Premier is a club program for 10U to 14U players that want to play at highly competitive level, but are just not ready skill wise to compete and commit to the demanding practice and tournament schedule of the Elite teams. ClubHoops Premier teams are for players wanting to play on a club team that provides the very best coaching, training, and competition, but within the confines of a local/regional competition schedule.
What level of team should I try out to be on?
You should try out for the highest level you would like to play. If you do not make that level, you will be invited back to try-out for the next level.
When are practices?
Practice times depend upon the program and age group. All practices will take place at ClubHoops.
Can my athlete play “up” an age group?
We encourage athletes to play within their own age group. However, it is possible to play up if the athlete is capable of competing at the higher level.
How old does my child have to be?
We have programs for athletes ages 8 to 18.
