Youth Basketball Scholarship Fund
YOUTH BASKETBALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND (YBSF)
The Youth Basketball Scholarship Fund strives for excellence and we expect the same from our participants. We expect those in need of financial assistance to exhibit traits of excellence off the court and in the classroom. Recipients of scholarships must exhibit these qualities in order to qualify for assistance. Our goal is to distribute funds two times per year.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants to the Youth Basketball Scholarship Fund must:

Be between the age of 8 to 18

Scholarship request must be for a verified and qualified program

Provide a reasonable statement of need

Have satisfactory academic standing (report cards submission required)

Submit a compelling essay (all applicants are required to complete an essay)
AWARDS
If selected as a recipient, the youth athlete will be notified with the total award amount. Athletes are limited to one award per calendar year.
APPLICATION
Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information. Applications are evaluated on the information supplied; therefore, answer all questions as completely as possible. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed only by Youth Basketball Scholarship Fund, Inc.
SELECTION OF RECIPIENTS
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, statement of goals and aspirations, participation in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership, one or more letters of recommendation, and an unusual personal or family circumstance resulting in an identified need. Financial need is not the sole basis of consideration.
Applicants will be notified by email. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Applicants may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIPS
CLUBHOOPS BASKETBALL CLUB, INC will distribute scholarship award payments directly to the program or organization the applicant has provided in the application.
