Policies

The following policies have been approved by the CLUBHOOPS management team, and are specifically designed to keep all spectators and participants safe during their visit to a CLUBHOOPS facility as well as outlining our key processes and procedures.

Abuse & Molestation Policy

CLUBHOOPS, will not tolerate the abuse/molestation of any minor participant in an CLUBHOOPS activity by any individual who volunteers or performs work on behalf of CLUBHOOPS. Neither consent of the participant to the contact, mistake as to the participant’s age, nor the fact the contact did not take place at a CLUBHOOPS function are defenses to a violation of this CLUBHOOPS policy. In determining whether this policy has been violated, CLUBHOOPS will make decisions based on the safety of minor participants. Therefore, any alleged perpetrator will be prohibited from volunteering until an investigation can be conducted. Upon determination that the policy has been violated, the violator will be permanently banned from all CLUBHOOPS activities and from volunteering/working on behalf of the organization. CLUBHOOPS will conduct a criminal background check on all prospective and current volunteers and employees when he/she is hired and every three years thereafter. If CLUBHOOPS learns of a prospective or current volunteer or employee who has been convicted of a crime that is sexual in nature involving an adult or a minor, that individual will be permanently banned from all CLUBHOOPS activities and from volunteering or working on behalf of CLUBHOOPS.

Concession Policy

Concussion Policy- House Bill 284, the Return to Play Act of 2013 effective Jan. 1, 2014 HB 284 requires recreational leagues to provide an information sheet on the risks of concussion at the time of registration to all youth athletes’ (ages 7 to 18) parents or legal guardians. CLUBHOOPS, LLC recognizes that adolescent athletes are particularly vulnerable to the effects of concussions. In compliance with the passage of House Bill 284, and to ensure the ongoing safety of our youth athletes, the following protocols will be effective January 1, 2014: Prior to the beginning of each athletic season, an informational sheet emphasizing the risks of concussions shall be distributed to the parents/guardians of all youth athletes (ages 7 to 18).* Any youth athlete who participates in youth athletics and exhibits signs of a concussion must be removed from the game, practice, competition or tryout and be evaluated by a healthcare provider.** Any youth athlete who is deemed by a healthcare provider as sustaining a concussion shall not be permitted to return to play until he/she receives clearance from a health care provider for a full or graduated return to play. * By law, recreational leagues only have to comply with Part A of the policy above; however, it is strongly encouraged that leagues establish and implement a concussion management policy consistent with the school level requirements. ** The term 'healthcare provider' means a licensed physician or another licensed individual under the supervision of a licensed physician, such as a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or certified athletic trainer who has received training in concussion evaluation and management.

Refund Policy

We try our best to be fair and understand unplanned circumstances when cancelling a registration to a program. Please be mindful, though, that putting a program together requires months of planning by CLUBHOOPS to hire coaches and staff for the event. Last minute cancellation not only gets in the way of our planning but it also takes away the opportunity from another athlete. CLUBHOOPS does not issue refunds (full or partial) for Skills Academy, Leagues, Tournaments, Club Teams, Camps, and Private Training or any other for-fee service or programming.
