Choosing A Class

 

Please see the list below as a starting point to identify appropriate placement.*

CLUBHOOPS® START

  • Must be in 1st grade or 6+ years old.

  • You have less than one year of basketball experience in a team format.

  • You are unfamiliar will all game rules and terminology.

  • You are still learning the basic motor fundamentals of ball control.

CLUBHOOPS® NEXT

  • Successfully passed CLUBHOOPS® START Skills Assessment.

  • Players with 1+ years active house/recreational league experience.

  • You have a good familiarity with all the game rules and terminology.

  • You have developed basic ball control, dribbling, footwork, and passing/catching.

  • You have a general idea of how to properly perform layups and shoot the basketball.

  • Players new to basketball or with no team experience will not be admitted to this class.

  • CLUBHOOPS Instructors have the right to place players in a division based on their skill level.

 

CLUBHOOPS® RISE

  • Successfully passed CLUBHOOPS® NEXT Skills Assessment.

  • You have 3+ years of basketball experience in a team format.

  • You have house league, AAU or Travel basketball experience.

  • You have developed a good feel for ball control, dribbling, passing/catching, shooting, and footwork.

  • You have basic understanding of team tactics and concepts for in game play.

  • CLUBHOOPS Instructors have the right to place players in a division based on their skill level.

CLUBHOOPS® PREMIER

  • Successfully passed CLUBHOOPS® RISE Skills Assessment.

  • You have 5+ years of basketball experience in a team format.

  • You have house league experience, AAU/Travel experience, and/or are currently playing on your Middle School team.

  • You have developed strong ball control, dribbling, passing/catching, shooting, and footwork.

  • You have basic understanding of team tactics and concepts for in game play.

  • You are learning the how to tactically compete to win rather than play recreationally.

  • CLUBHOOPS Instructors have the right to place players in a division based on their skill level.
